This is a poster and 3 social media icons for posts that I created. They are for a charity even for an organization called Children's Hunger Relief. I did an event invitation on a Mystery Potluck in the past and I wished to expand on the idea. With that in mind, I went with the idea of a Murder Mystery event. After that, I slowly listed off words, items, or symbols that may be associated with it. What made me decide on a classic theme was what it was for. Most of the time for a charity event you would be aiming toward an older crowd that has spare money. Afterward, I decided on the images to use, that of a detective for the main poster, and things that the detective may have or be doing for the icons to relate them to the main poster. When that was done, I decided to go with a classic text and a faded yet neutral color palette that resembled what you might see on shows such as Murder She Wrote, Perry Mason, Matlock, etc.
